Hi, I’m Jennifer

UX researcher, behavioral thinker, and champion of clarity and inclusion.

I bring over three years of experience in UX research, grounded in a decade of work as a therapist and program coordinator. I specialize in qualitative methods and inclusive design, with a deep belief that the best digital experiences are built through careful listening, ethical research, and user-centered strategy.

My goal? To help product teams make smart, human decisions — the kind that build trust, solve real problems, and create lasting impact.

From Therapy to UX

Before I entered the UX world, I spent over a decade working as a person-centered therapist. In this work I developed deep listening skills, a pattern-oriented mindset, and a passion for systems that support well-being.

As I transitioned into UX, I brought that same care and curiosity to digital spaces — exploring how people interact with technology, where friction lives, and how thoughtful design can make even complex systems feel simple and supportive.

What I Do Now

I’m currently a Senior UX Architect at FCB Chicago, where I lead research and design for clients in finance, healthcare, energy, and telecom.

I design and execute mixed-methods research studies to inform product strategy, test new ideas, and validate design decisions. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure user voices are embedded throughout the product lifecycle, not just at the start or the end.

“Jennifer is a great collaborator because she does an excellent job retaining the history of a project such as; decisions that we made and pitched, what we were briefed on and what the client's feedback was. We have projects with long, sometimes slow lifespans so these insights are very valuable”

— UI Designer

“Jennifer is great at pivoting as necessary when things change on a project, specifically suggesting and getting client buy-in on the appropriate type of research to do to get us what we need to know to make a design successful.”

— UX Manager
